Vanilla & Honey Poached Pears

Ingredients
- 2 ripe pears, peeled and halved
- 2 cups water
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 vanilla bean (or 1 tsp vanilla extract)
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 small slice fresh ginger (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the poaching liquid
In a small pot, combine water, honey, vanilla, cinnamon, and ginger. Bring to a gentle simmer. - Poach the pears
Add the pear halves and simmer for 15–20 minutes until tender and fragrant. - Serve
Transfer pears to a dish and drizzle with warm infused syrup. Serve immediately or chill for later.
