Ingredients

2 ripe pears, sliced
1 tbsp fresh ginger, thinly sliced
3 cups water or light vegetable broth
1 tbsp honey (optional) (if you have access to real organic honey from farmers it is truly the best)
1 cinnamon stick
1 pinch sea salt
1–2 dried red dates (optional, TCM traditional)
1 tsp goji berries (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare aromatics
    Slice pears and ginger. Rinse red dates and goji berries if using.
  2. Simmer base
    Bring water or broth to a gentle simmer with ginger and cinnamon.
  3. Add pears
    Add pear slices and cook 15–20 minutes until soft and fragrant.
  4. Sweeten
    Stir in honey if desired. Taste and adjust seasoning.
  5. Serve
    Ladle into bowls and enjoy warm for maximum immune‑supportive benefits.
